You can vote daily for St. Tammany Parish Hospital’s Pink Glove Dance video from Sept. 9-23 and help the hospital’s partner charity – Chemo Beanies Foundation of Covington – receive a $10,000 donation.

STPH chose a different approach with our 2014 Pink Glove Dance Video to ensure that the spotlight was on who it should be - the cancer patients and survivors.

With the selection of "Overcomer" as our song, it was important to make sure that we highlighted not only our patients and survivors, but their support networks, which included spouses, sisters, friends, children, nurses, and even pets!

Our Pink Glove Dance generated so many great snapshots from our participants that we moved from the traditional video format to a stop-motion format to create a flip-book feeling this year.

Having the Chemo Beanies organization benefit from our efforts - and participate in the event - was crucial as they have helped so many patients, including many in the video, by giving them the confidence to feel better about their image via their trademark beanies and become an "Overcomer!"
